I looked through a few different examples of brand guidelines and was inspired by layouts and other designs to help a brand guidelines document flow.

I then looked at everything I wanted to include in my brand guidelines document and wrote it all down to see what I had and begin to plan a layout.

Other things to potentially include in my brand guidelines document:

• Title page
• Contents
• Do’s and Don’ts for different aspects e.g. the wordmark

I also did a few sketches of some page layout ideas, but I found that some of them might be easier to create digitally and play around with different ideas at the time of making them as I can then use colour throughout to make sure it flows as one document.
