To begin creating my own word mark, I researched some symbols which I may be able to incorporate throughout the word mark or branding in the future. This included taking ‘unity’ quite literally and looking at its meaning.

plural unities
Essential Meaning of unity:
1: the state of being in full agreement : HARMONY
2: a way of combining the parts in a work of art or literature so that they seem to belong together
Origin: Middle English: from Old French unite, from Latin unitas, from unus ‘one’.

The Infinity Symbol
The infinity symbol, a figure eight on its side, variously signifies the concept of limitlessness or eternity, especially as used notationally in mathematics and metaphorically with respect to love.
The common symbol for infinity ∞, was invented by the English mathematician John Wallis in 1655. Three main types of infinity may be distinguished as the mathematical, the physical, and the metaphysical.
Conceptually the ring, a sign of union and completeness, becomes a symbol of unity between man and nature. In recent times the song is usually sung during all important sport events and represents a symbol of unity and pride.
I could potentially include either of these in my word mark or even throughout my brands designs as they are internationally recognised, particularly the infinity sign as it is recognised by everyone as the same forever or inclusivity concept.
