I tried adding in a grey layer blur behind the illustrations as someone recommended it to me in the critique to see if it would make them sit forward. To be honest, I didn’t really notice too much of a difference but perhaps that subtle change is all it needs.

Another recommendation was to add coloured shapes into the background of the illustrations. I chose to stick with the circle shapes that are carried throughout my project. I added a few variety of circles in different sizes and colours that would compliment each illustration and I actually love the result!
Again for the Splashdown illustrations, it was recommended to either try the same layered effect or to try animate the parachute. As you can see from the screen before any changes were made, the illustrations sort of just sat there with not much purpose and I felt like they were lacking something. I decided to split these illustrations up, using the parachute on my first splashdown page (I am going to try to animate this to fall slowly in Figma) while the other illustration remained on the second splashdown page. For this one, I used the same layered circles technique as before and this time I chose different blue shades to mimic the water that they landed on. Again, I think this works well and I’m going to keep this effect.
As you can see below I added prompt circles and used the same pulsating effect from before so that on the last screen of each section, there is a coloured circle that will navigate to the next section. This means that the user doesn’t have to keep going in and out of the navigation to move on to the next section so instead, they can carry through. I also added the same circle on the very last screen - this time a grey one which will take the user back to Home and give them the chance to start again.
