One app idea I had was to create a grocery-based tracking app in order to reduce food waste. This is because many households will not use up their groceries before the best-before date and end up throwing them away.
Some causes for this could be that they simply forget what they have bought, therefore not using it up or buying it again. Perhaps they haven’t planned their food shopping and don’t buy full meals/ingredients for meals and therefore food gets wasted - or else they may buy too much. This is why it’s important to track the food you are buying and using so that you dont have to throw away much, if any food! OR there could be alternatives such as composting any scraps or leftovers to make nutrient-rich soil.
Having made user flows in class, I decided to make one for my project so that I knew what a user would need in this app. This also lead me on to making a site map.
